Yoga at The Pilates and Yoga Studio

Hi everyone,


I hope you're keeping as well as can be in quarantine. I'm missing my yogis and have been working with The Pilates and Yoga Studio to come up with more online yoga content to help you keep up with your practice.


Therefore I am going to be teaching four classes a week on Zoom for the Pilates and Yoga Studio. You can see the online classes the studio are offering here; https://www.pilatesandyogastudio.co.uk/online-classes.html


And I wanted to talk through the classes I am going to be offering.


Starting on 17/05/2020


Sunday 10:00 Slow Flow

This class is a slower paced vinyasa style yoga class, suitable for all levels of yogi including beginners. The class incorporates gentle stretching, sun salutations, balancing postures and finally a lovely long savasana including a guided meditation.


Monday 18:00 Vinyasa

This vinyasa class moves at a steady pace, combining the breath with movement. We will begin with gentle seated stretches before moving on to sun salutations, balancing postures and a series of flows. This class is suitable for those who already have some experience of yoga as a knowledge of sun salutations will allow you to enjoy the class more.


Tuesday 11:15 Slow Flow

Replacing my usual Tuesday morning class, this online practice will offer a very similar experience! This class is a slower paced vinyasa style class, suitable for all levels of yogi including beginners. The class incorporates gentle stretching, sun salutations, balancing postures and finally, a lovely long savasana including a guided meditation.


Friday 13:00 Lunchtime Meditation

Take a break and meditate! This thirty minute class requires no equipment, simply take a comfortable seat and allow yourself to be guided through a variety of meditations. Each week we will cover a different style of mindfulness meditation including body scan, gratitude, breath work and much more!
